As an independent insurance agent, it’s tempting to assume your education is complete after passing your licensing exam, but that isn’t the case for our industry. The insurance field is always changing, and for agents to continue learning about the industry, laws, and insurance field, their knowledge must keep up after the licensing exam is long over. That’s why every few years, insurance agents across the nation are required to expand that knowledge by completing continuing education, or CE, courses.
